The LCD screen on the iPad is also known as the lower screen – it’s what displays the graphics. If you’ve dropped your iPad and damaged the glass screen, you may also need the LCD replacing too. Common symptoms of a damaged LCD include a “bleeding” or “black ink stain”, a blank or very dark display, flickering, vertical lines, dead pixels or corrupted graphics such as random red marks. Although not impossible, it’s unusual to damage the LCD without damaging the front glass screen. WeFix engineers replace iPad LCD’s on a daily basis, so you can be assured your repair is in safe, experienced hands.
